With Election Day approaching, Episode 6 of Glengarry Votes moves from understanding the election to making sure residents are actually ready to cast their ballots.
Hosts Jena Doonan and Kelli Campeau provide the practical information North and South Glengarry residents need to make their voting plan, including when voting opens, the different voting methods available, advance voting, Voter Help Centres and where residents can receive assistance.
Internet and telephone voting begins at 9:00 a.m. on October 19 and remains available through 8:00 p.m. on October 26 in both municipalities.
South Glengarry residents will vote by Internet or telephone, while North Glengarry residents can choose between Internet, telephone and paper ballots. The episode also provides information about North Glengarry’s advance voting opportunities and polling locations.
For residents requiring assistance, election staff will be available to help with voters’ list updates, lost or damaged Voter Information Letters, questions about the voting process and other election-related concerns.
The episode also looks ahead to what happens when voting closes at 8:00 p.m. on October 26 and the process of receiving, verifying and announcing preliminary election results.
Ahead of voting, Glengarry TV will also host the North Glengarry Mayoral Debate on October 15, providing residents with an opportunity to hear directly from the mayoral candidates about their priorities and vision for the municipality.
The message of Episode 6 is straightforward: know how you’re going to vote, know when you’re going to vote, and make your plan before Election Day.
📅 Municipal Election Day is October 26, 2026.
Glengarry Votes is brought to you by the Townships of North Glengarry and South Glengarry, hosted by Jena Doonan and Kelli Campeau, and produced in collaboration with Glengarry TV.
